about Elyse

Elyse Cascio, L.Ac, is a New York State Licensed Acupuncturist. She earned her Masters of Science Degree in Acupuncture at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and her Bachelors of Science Degree in Management and Consulting and Leadership from Binghamton University. She is also enrolled in the Pacific College Doctorate program with an anticipated graduation of 2021.

Elyse’s acupuncture education started at Tri-State College of Acupuncture where she was trained in 3 acupuncture styles: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Acupuncture Physical Medicine (APM), and Japanese-style with Kiiko Matsumoto (KM). Upon the closure of Tri-State College, she was fueled by her passion for holistic healing and completed her Masters Degree in Acupuncture at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.

Elyse continued the rigorous Acupuncture program, which involved over 2,500 hours of coursework and clinical experience. She learned the discipline of combining Western and Eastern medical theory and also began to cultivate her ability to successfully diagnose and treat a vast number of health conditions. With keen observation, palpation and listening skills, Elyse has been able to achieve great results in improving the well-being of her patients, both in the school’s clinic and in private practice. She is trained to see physical ailments from multiple perspectives and strives to achieve optimal results.

Elyse’s practice utilizes a combination of acupuncture, nutrition, and wellness to support a mind, body, and soul approach to healing. Her holistic approach to health and wellness combines ancient modalities to achieve success in treating a variety of health concerns including preventative and anti-aging, skin disorders (acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema), facial disorders (Bell’s Palsy, Trigeminal Neuralgia, Stroke), digestive issues, stress and anxiety symptoms, women’s health and fertility, and pain (acute, chronic, sports injuries). Elyse partners with each of her patients in order to help them achieve their individual health goals.

Elyse holds a 100 hour Advanced Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture certification and also is working towards her Diplomat of Acupuncture status through NCCAOM and her Doctorate in Acupuncture through Pacific College. Elyse is fully insured and is certified in Clean Needle Technique.
